Refund & Return Policy

At Wasted Tees, every item is printed on demand and made specifically for your order. Because of this, we want to be fully transparent about when refunds, replacements, and returns are available. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.

This policy applies to customers in the United States and is designed to comply with applicable U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws, including Federal Trade Commission (FTC) disclosure requirements.


1. Made-to-Order Products

All of our t-shirts are custom, made-to-order items produced after you place your order. For this reason, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for buyer's remorse, including but not limited to:

  • Ordering the wrong size, color, or style
  • Changing your mind after purchase
  • Finding a similar product elsewhere

We strongly encourage you to review our sizing chart and product details before purchasing.


2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We stand behind the quality of our products. You are eligible for a free replacement or a full refund if your item arrives:

  • Damaged or with a manufacturing defect
  • Misprinted (wrong design, off-center print, or print errors on our end)
  • Different from the item you ordered (wrong size, color, or product)

To qualify, you must contact us within 30 days of delivery with:

  1. Your order number
  2. A clear description of the issue
  3. Photographs clearly showing the defect, damage, or error

Once approved, we will send a replacement at no cost to you or issue a full refund — your choice. You will not be required to return the defective item in most cases.


3. Order Cancellations & Changes

Because items go into production quickly, cancellation and change requests are time-sensitive.

  • You may request a cancellation or change to your order within 12 hours of purchase.
  • After this window, your order may already be in production and can no longer be cancelled, changed, or refunded.

To request a cancellation, email us immediately with your order number.


4. Non-Delivery & Lost Packages

If your tracking shows your order was not delivered, or your package is lost in transit, contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with the carrier to locate the package and, if it cannot be recovered, provide a replacement or refund.

We are not responsible for packages marked as "delivered" by the carrier but reported as not received, or for delays caused by the shipping carrier, customs, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.


5. How to Request a Refund or Replacement

Send an email to wastedtees.store@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request – [Your Order Number]" and include:

  • Your full name and order number
  • The reason for your request
  • Supporting photos (if reporting damage, a defect, or an incorrect item)

Our team will review your request and respond within 1–3 business days.


6. Refund Processing & Timing

Once your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company — processing times may vary.
  3. Contact your bank, as there is often a processing delay before a refund is posted.

8. Exchanges

Because all items are made to order, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please follow the process in Section 2 to receive a replacement.


9. Chargebacks

If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We are committed to resolving problems fairly and quickly. Filing a fraudulent chargeback may result in loss of access to future orders.


10. Your Rights

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable U.S. state or federal law. Some states provide additional consumer protections, and nothing in this policy is intended to override those rights.
